Kootenay National Park : Stanley Glacier

Today I went to Kootenay National Park in British Columbia, in fact just to close to the border Alberta - British Columbia.

For me, British Columbia is the most beautiful province in Canada by its diversity and landscape beauty.

I went to Stanley Glacier and I enjoyed it so much, what a fantastic place, I'll be back during the summer :)

How to get there ?
Take the Trans Canada Highway in direction to Lake Louise. At Castle Junction, take the Highway 93 in the Radium direction for about 13 km. The parking lot is on your left.

















We can see Castle Mountain from the parking lot and also from the first part of the trail.







In 2003, there was a big fire in the Kooteany National Park that burnt about 12% of the park.
