Kananaskis : Bow Valley Widland Park : Memorial Lakes

Today I was again and again in Kananaskis Country for my big pleasure ! I wanted to go to a place away from the crowd to fully enjoy the day : Memorial Lakes in Bow Valley Wildland Park. Looks like mission more than accomplished ! I didn't see anyone until I went back on Ribbon Creek trail.

This hike is a festival of waterfalls. It's so cool to watch these waterfalls and listen to the sound of the water :)

How to get there ?
Go South of Trans-Canada Highway 1 on Highway 40 and turn right to Nakiska Ski Resort. Turn first left on Centennial Drive, then first right on Ribbon Creek road. Drive until the end of the trail and park there.

The trail starts at Ribbon Creek parking and is the same as the one of Ribbon Creek for about 3 kilometers, and then you'll have to turn on the right and Follow North Ribbon Creek.
