I had an another fantastic day of snowshoeing :) :) :)I went to Elk Pass in Peter Lougheed Park in Kananaskis Country.How to get there ?Go 49.7km South of Trans-Canada Highway 1 on Highway 40 and turn west into the Peter Lougheed Park. Between December 15 and June 15, you can't miss it because Highway 40 is closed at the turn. Then, drive about 11.8 km, the parking lot of the Elk Pass will be on

It was snowy in Kananaskis, so the photos are not clear, whatever it was a really cool afternoon for snowshoeing :)

The first lake you'll see is Lilian Lake surrounded by trees, please don't stop your trip there, because Galatea lakes are worth the effort !!!How to get there ?Go South of Trans-Canada Highway 1 on Highway 40 for about 32-33 km, then the parking lot for Galatea Lakes will be on the right.
